With the long weekend and no reason to get up early today, decided to hit the port last night for some snooking. Called a friend of mine I haven’t fished with in a few months and off we go. We were going stickly artificials. Went out to the N jetty rocks to start the day bit look out on the ocean and decided to hit the beaches north of the inelt to see if there were any tarpon rolling aorund. Spent 1/2 hour or so crusiing around didnt see anything. Decided to head back to the N jetty rocks, where my son and I hammered the snooked about a month ago or so. Didnt see the bait as much as we hoped for. Working up and down the rocks my friend was able to get nailed and get a nice 30″ snook. After that we worked the docks with no luck. Overall not a bad night 1 for 1 on a keeper.
